PAST EVENTS

In May 2026, Darkness Emergent returned to Los Angeles for the second time since its inception. Widely believed to be the largest event in the organization's history, the weekend welcomed more than 300 attendees as Kindred from across the globe gathered alongside an incredible lineup of Special Guests, including Erika Ishii, Luis Carazo, Jason Carl, Mark Meer, Xander Jeanneret, Cynthia Marie, and B. Dave Walters.

The schedule was packed from beginning to end, featuring dozens of panels, five social events, private parties, exclusive dinners, live entertainment, and countless opportunities for players to connect with the World of Darkness community.

As vibrant as the daytime festivities were, the nights belonged to the story.

The assembled Kindred found themselves confronting ancient clan curses, collapsing enterprises, dangerous conspiracies within the spa industry, escalating Video Fee disputes, and a host of other threats that tested the strength of every sect and domain. By the time the dust settled, the fate of San Francisco had been decided, sending shockwaves throughout Kindred society and irrevocably altering the political landscape of the United States. Though Los Angeles remains the beating heart of the Anarch Movement, the future of it (and many of North America's most influential domains) has never been more uncertain.

The next chapter begins At Sea in February 2027, before continuing later that year in Chicago.

Will you be there when history is written?

Darkness Emergent made its East Coast debut in Atlanta in November 2025, with events centered in and around the Hilton Garden Inn in Downtown Atlanta.

One of the standout elements of the weekend was the after-hours experience. The debut of the 7th Tradition Rave brought high-energy nightlife to the forefront, closing out the evening in true Kindred fashion. Players also took part in a unique mini-LARP photo experience, where characters were escorted into themed studio spaces for in-character conversations and interviews, resulting in striking, narrative-driven photography.

The event concluded with the formal celebration of Prince Monroe’s Praxis, an evening intended to reinforce Camarilla unity and demonstrate the strength of the domain. Instead, it exposed the tension simmering beneath the surface. Political maneuvering, quiet rivalries, and unresolved agendas came to light as alliances were tested in real time. What should have been a clean consolidation of power instead revealed fractures within the court, leaving many to question not only Monroe’s reign, but the stability of Atlanta itself. For those in attendance, one thing was clear: Atlanta was not a conclusion, it was the beginning of something far more volatile.

In the aftermath, the consequences of that night continue to ripple across every faction. Trust has been strained, positions have shifted, and several key players have emerged either emboldened or exposed. Rather than a sense of closure, Atlanta now stands as a domain in transition—one where influence is actively being renegotiated and the next moves will matter more than ever.
