WHAT IS DARKNESS EMERGENT?

Darkness Emergent is a three- to four-day World of Darkness LARP experience—centered on Vampire: The Masquerade—held in the United States. Players step into the shadows of the Kindred, undead predators navigating a world of politics, power, and personal horror through immersive live-action roleplay. Each event offers nightly LARP gameplay, daytime one-shot World of Darkness four hour LARPs, V5 tabletop sessions, World of Darkness panels, vendors, and after-hours community socials that bring the night to life.

DE events offer a fun opportunity to connect with friends who share an interest in community, storytelling, and immersive experiences

Three Time Attendee. 2023-2025

I attended on a whim having never done larp before and I keep coming back because of the amazing effort the staff put in and how welcoming and friendly the community is.

Two Time Attendee. 2024 & 2025

It truly feels like home. Between the guests, staff and other players. It was amazing to call Darkness Emergent my first LARP and the energy will bring me back over and over.
